October 28, 2007. Aria Awards, Australia. Congratulations Keith on winning Best Country Album. Both Nicole and Keith were on the red carpet. During the show Keith performed a duo with the John Butler Trio and received a standing ovation that included Nicole. (AEST). - First photo of Nicole dressed for "Australia" movie seen on the cover of a new weekly magazine included with the Townsville Bulletin. The photo of Nicole wearing a bush hat is said to to be released by Baz Luhrmann and is how she may appear in the film. There is also an interview with Nicole. We have scans here from Meisha. And of interest too is th news that John "Cha Cha" O'Donnell has been involved in dancing instruction at Strickland House .(fans of Moulin Rouge will know this name well).   7 April 2007 (Australian time).Video from Channel 9, Australia, of Baz in Bowen (now called Bowenwood) setting up the set with crew in preparation for movie "Australia". Nicole attended the 20th A nnual Kids Choice awards to accept the award for Happy Feet along with her children Bella and Conor. As filming for Australia draws close, the actors such as Hugh Jackman (seen practising horse riding for his role) and David Wenham begin arriving back in Australia to start baz workshops. Her statement has been incorrectly quoted in the press with the usual attempt to sensationalise it. It is on the cover of Who magazine (Australia) and inside People Magazine (US). Both magazines have 6 page wedding spreads and we have scans of both here - Who and People.   Nicole spent a quiet day in preparatoin for her wedding the next day. The night before his wedding Keith had a night out with his friends, some of whom had just arrived from Nashville Photos. Thanks kiha. *video* In the evening Nicole and Keith hosted a dinner at the Walsh Bay Unit.  23-24 June 2006 *video* Nicole and Keith and their families spend the evening with Baz Luhrmann raising the speculation he will have a role in the wedding. (See news item following this one) Nicole stays close to home on the eve of her wedding. June 23 Wedding location and date confirmed. Keith spotted with Australian soccer scarf heading out early (Australia played in the World Cup and qualified to go through to Round 2). The day as seen by the Australian TV. Video.

After her visit, Nicole requested the reporters to give her some time to herself now.  Nicole's hen/bachelorette party at Antonia's place. 31 May 2006 Baz epic. Variety have chased up the New York Post story mentioned below and claim Heath Ledger was asked to take Russell's place but declined. This suggests Russell may in fact be off the Baz Luhrmann project. Thanks Ivani (Sophie Aubrey).
